GIVING PREMIUM TO MORALE AND WELFARE: Tabina LGU Distributes Philarpat Uniforms, Rice Sacks to CAFGUs

The Municipal Government of Tabina, Zamboanga del Sur distributed Philarpat uniforms to CAFGU Active Auxiliaries (CAAs) of the Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) assigned in Malim and Baganian Patrol Bases in Tabina, Zamboanga del Sur on August 14, 2023.

The CAAs play a vital role as the battalion’s force mutipliers in conducting Focused Military Operations, Critical Infrastructure, Investment Protection, and Security Operations (CIIPSO), Littoral and Deterrence Operations, and Checkpoint Operations, to name a few.

During the activity, Tabina Mayor Anthony Dayondon also distributed rice sacks to the CAAs to boost their morale and welfare, in line with 53IB’s “Better Life: Adopt-a-CAFGU Project,” an initiative of the battalion which seeks to develop the character and competence of CAAs and provide them a structured pathway to attain wholistic development.
