STRENGTHENING PARTNERSHIPS: 53IB Welcomes Newly Installed DOLE IX Regional Director, Albert E Gutib

The 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) welcomed the newly-appointed Regional Director of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) IX, Albert E Gutib at 53IB Headquarters, Guipos, Zamboanga del on June 15, 2023.

Furthermore, The Friend Rescued of ZDS PTF-ELCAC extends a warmth welcome to the Regional Director of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE). A tree-planting activity was also held at the Matapat Community Firing Range to commemorate RD Gutib’s visit.

During the said visit, Director Gutib of DOLE IX engaged in a fruitful discussion with Capt. Bahnarin K Camsa, Executive Officer of 53IB together with the FR’s, sharing insights on the labor and employment of programs that DOLE IX offers.

Through the continues efforts in the employment facilitation, entrepreneurship training, and livelihood opportunities of the FRs with the ultimate goal of empowering the FR’s to improve their quality of life.
