53IB Joins 2nd Mobile Medical Mission of Provincial Government of ZDS in Pagadian City
The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “MATAPAT” Battalion (53IB) participated in Medical/Dental Mission and Operation Tuli initiated by the Provincial Government of Zamboanga del Sur held at Brgy Lala and Brgy Upper Sibatang, Pagadian City on June 26-27, 2023.
The said MEDCAP activities include free medical check-ups, circumcision and dental services, and giving of medicine to the residents of the said barangays.
The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude for the free medical and dentals services offered.
Through the collective efforts its aimed to provide comprehensive services and support to the residents makes a positive impact on the health and well-being to the people.
The activities were spearheaded by Hon Bonifacio S Pang-an, Chairman, Lala, Pagadian City, Dr. Ralph Renon Casamayor, Medical Officer, ZDSMC, Dra. Cherilyn T. Gomonit, Dental Team from ZDSMC, Edbert Teves, Nurse/EMT-B, ZDSMC, Maj James Cerdeñola MC, Ex-O, KCSSH, Cpt Pauline N Gonzalo DS, 1361st Dental Detatchment, SSg Geronimo G Lamag (DS) PA, Dental Personnel and Sgt Joel Estrebor (INF) PA, 53IB.
