ACKNOWLEDGING EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE: Dumalinao LGU Recognize 53IB’s Execptional Service During 67th Araw ng Dumalinao
The Local Government Unit of Dumalinao, Zamboanga del Sur awarded a Plaque of Recognition to the Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) during the NGA Night as part of the 67th Araw ng Dumalinao on June 13, 2023, at the Municipal Gymnasium, Dumalinao, Zamboanga del Sur.
The said Plaque of Recognition was presented by Dumalinao Mayor, Hon. Junaflor S. Cerilles and was received by 53IB Commanding Officer Lt. Col. Terence Ylanan.
Dumalinao recognized 53IB’s exceptional service, unwavering commitment, and outstanding contribution in the areas of security and community outreach.
The municipality likewise recognized the unit’s tireless efforts, dedication, and selfless service which have played an instrumental role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and harmony within the community.
Mayor Cerilles expressed her deepest appreciation and gratitude to the 53IB for its outstanding service and dedication to duty in sustaining peace and order in the municipality.
Lt. Col. Ylanan also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Cerilles and the Municipality of Dumalinao for the said recognition, saying the 53IB will remain committed in fulfilling its mandate to sustain peace and ensure progress and development in its area of responsibility.
