TESDA Empowers Barangay Bag-ong Gutlang through Community Based Training

Molave, ZDS – On May 24, 2023, The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) launched its Barangay Development Project (BDP) in Brgy Bag-ong Gutlang, Molave, ZDS.

This initiative aims to provide community-based training programs to enhance the skills and livelihood opportunities of the residents. The programs were design to equip the participants with practical skills and knowledge that can be applied to their everyday lives and future careers. By investing in the development of the local community, TESDA aims to uplift livelihood opportunities and empower individuals with marketable skills.

The collaborative effort between TESDA and the Provincial office resulted in implementation of various training programs, including 24 participants in Lomi preparation, 22 in Basic Financial management, and 9 participants in Hollow Block Making.

Headed by TESDA IX representative Mrs. Mary Ann L. Quirante, CMO Personnel from 53IB Cpl. Jay-ar D. Castillano, Administrator PTC Pagadian Mr. Juancho Lazo, Trainor TESDA Marecil Lirasan, and residents of Brgy Bag-ong Gutlang.
