53IB CAFGU Mobile Force Commander Takes Helm of Charlie Company

The Executive Officer of 53IB’s Charlie Company and at the same time Commander of 53IB’s CAFGU Mobile Force formally assumed command of Charlie Company, 53IB in a momentous Turnover Ceremony presided by 53IB’s Commanding Officer held at 53IB Charlie Company Headquarters in Barangay Dipili, Bayog, Zamboanga del Sur on May 15, 2023.

Outgoing Charlie Company Commander 1Lt. Alvin Ibarra relinquished his post to his Executive Officer, 1Lt. Magno Relado after serving 2 years as the company’s Commanding Officer.

1Lt. Ibarra also received a Military Merit Medal for his invaluable contributions and dedication to duty as the outgoing company commander.

53IB Commanding Officer Lt. Col. Terence Ylanan congratulated the outgoing company commander for a job well done, and tasked the newly-installed Company Commander to continue sustaining the gains to ensure progress and development in the 2nd District of Zamboanga del Sur.
