Zamboanga del Sur Governor Gives Premium to Morale and Welfare of Troops and Friends Rescued in Celebration of Tabak’s 87th Founding Anniversary

Zamboanga del Sur Governor Hon. Victor J. Yu gave premium to the morale and welfare of troops, CAFGU Active Auxiliaries, and Friends Rescued of the Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) with a boodlefight earlier today in celebration of the Army’s 1st Infantry (TABAK) Division’s 87th Founding Anniversary tomorrow, May 5, 2023.

Troops from 53IB’s Headquarters in Poblacion, Guipos, Zamboanga del Sur, CAAs in Muricay Patrol Base in Pagadian City, and troops and CAAs in Upper Landing Patrol Base in Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur enjoyed the said lunch-boodlefight. The boodlefight strengthened the camaredrie among the troops of 53IB, who are now more motivated to accomplish the unit’s mission.

Gov. Yu also gave back to communities in Barangay Muricay, Pagadian City and Barangay Saad, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur through a feeding program as a means of expressing gratitude to the years of service of the Tabak Division in Zamboanga del Sur.
