SAVING LIVES TOGETHER: 53IB Joins Bloodletting Activity Conducted by 1CAV, Amai Pakpak Medical Center

The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) joined the bloodletting activity conducted by the Army’s 1st Cavalry “Tagapanguna” Battalion (1CAV) in partnership with the Amai Pakpak Medical Center on March 18, 2023, at 1CAV Headquarters, Upper Pulacan, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur.

The life-saving activity was initiated as part of 1CAV’s pre-anniversary activities in connection with its 47th Founding Anniverary Celebration. The bloodledding activity was also conducted to raise awareness on the importance and life-saving benefits of regular blood donation.

Participated the activity were the troops of 1CAV, their stakeholders, and a team from 53IB led by its Admin and Personnel Officer Cpt. Cornelio Cortejo Jr.
