ZDS E-CLIP Committee Holds 1st Quarter 2023 Meeting; Governor Yu Signs FRs’ E-CLIP Enrollment Forms

Zamboanga del Sur Governor and Provincial Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (PTF-ELCAC) Chairperson Hon. Victor J. Yu signs the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP) Enrollment Forms of 9 Friends Rescued (FRs) from the Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) during the 1st Quarter Meeting of the ZDS PTF-ELCAC E-CLIP Committee Meeting held on March 9, 2023, at Governor’s Office, Zamboanga Motors Building, Pagadian City.

The 9 FRs will receive a total of Php 585,000.00 from the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) consisting of Php 50,000 livelihood assistance and Php 15,000 immediate cash assistance per FR.

The event highlights the continued commitment of the ZDS PTF-ELCAC to facilitate the FRs’ reintegration into the mainstream society towards achieving lasting peace in the province.

Also present during the meeting are ZDS Sangguniang Panlalawigan Chair on Peace and Order Hon. John Regala; DILG-ZDS ELCAC Focal Person Mr. Dave Barrot; Mr. Moshe Briones from Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office; Zamboanga del Sur Police Provincial Office; and 53IB Civil-Military Operations Officer 1Lt. George Yu Jr.
