The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) participated in 53rd Araw ng Brgy Pampang at Brgy. Pampang, Lapuyan, Zamboanga del Sur.
The commemoration of the 53rd Founding Anniversary of Barangay Pampang emphasizes the number of years it has served the community, its privileges in the service to continue sacrifices, and its good governance efforts that breed opportunities to attain sustainable development for all.
The said event was participated by Hon. Joel Sulong, Mayor of Lapuyan, Hon. Daud Satar, Chairman of Brgy Pampang, 53IB Executive Officer Cpt. Bahnarin K Camsa, and 53IB Charlie Company Executive Officer, 1Lt Magno Relado.
During the occasion, Cpt Camsa expressed his utmost gratitude to the Local Government Unit of Brgy. Pampang, Lapuyan for unwavering support to the 53IB in its mandate in preserving the peace and order in the the whole province of Zamboanga del Sur.
