LOOK| 53IB Participates in POPS PLAN TWG Meeting in Margosatubig
The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) participated in the Municipal Peace and Order and Public Safety (POPS) Plan Technical Working Group Meeting in Margosatubig, Zamboanga del Sur on January 19, 2022.
The meeting, presided by Margosatubig Mayor Alejandro E. Agua III, brought together key leaders from the military and local government units, including Margosatubig Chief of Police PMAJ JAKE CAPITLY; Mrs Josephine Paras, HRMO; Hon. Roldan Aluyen, Vice Mayor, Margosatubig; Hon. Samson Banlasan, SB Member Margosatubig, and Hon. Ruby Albaracin, SB Member Margosatubig; and, CPT BAHNARIN K CAMSA (INF) PA, Executive Officer of this unit.
Discussed in the meeting were the Municipal Budgetary Proposal for 2023 for Peace and Order and Public Safety.
This meeting exemplifies the convergence, cooperation, and collaboration between military and local government units in ensuring peace and safety in Margosatubig.
The POPS-Plan is a crucial initiative that aims to strengthen the partnership between these key stakeholders and ensure the well-being of the community.
