53IB Promotes Reading During Pambansang Buwan at Araw ng Pagbasa.

The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion joins the celebration of Pambansang Buwan at Araw ng Pagbasa held at Guipos National High School, Poblacion Guipos, Zamboanga del Sur on 21 November 2022.

During the flag-raising ceremony, Lt. Col Terence P Ylanan as invited Mystery Reading Ambassador gives his views on the importance of reading.

In his message of encouragement, “Lt. Col Ylanan personally advises the students to love, have passion, and enjoy reading habits to cultivate critical thinking ability personally.

The activity aims to emphasize the significance of reading skills to every student to boost their reading comprehension and communication skills.
