IN PHOTOS: 53IB Holds Delta Company Turn-over Ceremony

Command of Delta Company, 53IB, the unit tasked to managed the CAFGU Active Auxiliaries in Zamboanga del Sur, was transferred in a traditional military ceremony at Brgy Dao, Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur on 07 November 2022.

The outgoing Delta Company Commander Cpt Bahnarin Camsa turned over his position to the new Delta Company Commander 1Lt Jonathan Cernitchez.

“I am honored and privileged to be your Company Commander for 2 years. I am thankful for all the support coming from soldiers, CAFGUs and our stakeholders. Rest assured that, I will continue to give my support in my capacity as the Battalion, Executive Officer.” Cpt Camsa said.

“As your newly installed Company Commander, I am challenged to have this position but surely, I will give my very best to continue the mission.” Lt Cernitchez pledged.

Col Villanueva appreciate the initiatives of 53IB Better Life program: Adopt-a-cafgu that inspired a lot of Army units. ”I am please that you had initiated this kind of projects to cater the needs of our Cafgus and to show them that they are being valued.”

The turnover of command ceremony was presided by Col Edgar Allan Villanueva Commanding Officer, DCAU, 1ID, PA; and attended by Lt. Col Terence Ylanan, Commanding Officer 53IB, Hon. John Regala, Brgy Dao Officials, friends from Radyo Agong, and and Matapat Troopers.
