HONORING HEROISM || 53IB Honors Fallen Matapat Troopers in Wreath-laying Ceremony

The 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) offered flowers at Heroes Park inside Headquarters 53IB Camp Major David P Sabido, Poblacion Guipos, Zamboanga del Sur on 02 November 2022 in memory and honor of Matapat troopers who have offered their lives in the service of God, Country and People.

The simple ceremony serves to reconnect with the souls of our fallen heroes as we remember them this All Souls Day.

The said ceremony was spearheaded by Lt.Col Terence Ylanan Commanding Officer 53IB together with Cpt Bahnarin Camsa, Battalion Executive Officer of this unit, Staff Officers and Matapat Troopers.
