BREAKING NEWS! 53IB Deploys Additional Troops in Kumalarang

The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) deploys additional troops for area security, mobile patrol, and municipal coordinators to the Municipality of Kumalarang to facilitate the safe arrival of Vote Counting Machines (VCMs) and smooth conduct of National and Local Elections on May 9, 2022.

The 53IB upholds the highest level of professionalism, excellence, and integrity and will remain apolitical in carrying out its duty. The 53IB also reiterates that Special CAFGU Active Auxiliaries (SCAA) are already intact in their respective patrol bases (detachments) and not deployed for election duty.
