TRANSPORTING COVID-19 VACCINES: 53IB Conducts Convoy Security for COVID-19 Vaccines in ZamboSur and ZamboNorte

The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) conducted convoy security for COVID-19 Vaccine transportation from Buug, Zamboanga Sibugay Province to Zamboanga del Sur on October 25, 2021.A total of 1,487 vials of AstraZeneca vaccines were delivered to Zamboanga del Sur.

The province of Zamboanga del Norte also received 4,383 vials of the same vaccine.

The activity was participated by 53IB Charlie Company Executive Officer 2Lt. Magno Relado, PLt. Remie Rebollos from 2nd ZSPMFC, and Mr. Asterio Mateo from Department of Health.
