PASSION TO SERVE: LGU, 53IB Hold Serbisyo Caravan, Medical Mission in Midsalip
The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “MATAPAT” Battalion (53IB) continues its passion to serve as it participated in the Serbisyo Caravan and Medical Mission initiated by the Municipal Government of Midsalip, Zamboanga del Sur.
The serbisyo caravan and medical mission included free medical checkup, vaccination, operation tuli, and family planning which benefitted the CAFGUs, their dependents, and the residents of Barangays New Unidos, Golictop, Pawan, Ecuan, Licuruan, Tulbong, and Katipunan—forming part of 53IB’s “Better Life: Adopt-a-CAFGU Program.”
The activities were participated by MHO Dr Janine Ann Pangandian, COP-Midsalip P/MAJ Juvic Aballe, 53IB’s Alpha Company First Sergeant TSg Julius O Obido.
