STRENGTHENING TIES: Barangay Chairmen Partake in Team Building Activity During Peacebuilding Forum

The Barangay Chairmen of Kumalarang and Guipos, Zamboanga del Sur together with Kumalarang mayor Ruel Molina participated in a Tree Planting and Funshoot Activity as part of the Local Peacebuilding Forum on Ending Local Communist Armed Conflict (ELCAC) initiated by the Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) last Thursday, October 14.

Said Tree Planting and Funshoot Activities were team building activities designed to strengthen and forge ties between the Barangay chiefs.

The Barangay Chairmen expressed their joy and gratitude to 53IB as they claim to be “first timers” in firing pistols.
