The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) together with Midsalip Municipal Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (MTF-ELCAC) distributed Starter Toolkits to the students Produce Organic Fertilizer, Produce Organic Concoctions and Extracts and Raise Organic Small Ruminants as part of its Special Training for Employment Program in Barangay Noburan in Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur.
The starter kits included knapsack sprayers, weighing scales, round shovels, plastic pails, and wheel barrows.
The distribution was participated by Ms. Maria Fronie Dalid from TESDA Provincial Office; Provincial Training Coordinator Engr. Juancho Lazo; Ms. Susan Relacion as representative of Labangan mayor Eduardo Relacion; Noburan Barangay Captain Bonifacio Dag-uman; and 53IB Alpha Company Commander 1Lt. Janryl Gumalad.Barangay Noburan was a previous conflict-affected barangay and is included in the Barangay Development Program. It was declared “clear” of CPP-NPA influence in April 2019.
