IN PHOTOS! 53IB Continues to Distribute Cebuano Version of Breaking Free Book to Tukuran

The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) continues to dominate the information environment by distributed 100 copies of the Cebuano version of the BREAKING FREE FROM COMMUNIST DECEPTION book entitled “Nakagawas Gikan” to the Municipality of Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur.

The books were received by Tukuran mayor Macario Tingson. BREAKING FREE FROM COMMUNIST DECEPTION features detailed narrations of actual accounts of young people’s fateful journeys who were recruited and once deceived by the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army (CPP-NPA) but were able to surrender and went back to the folds of the law.

This activity is part of the 53IB’s drive to pursue transformation toward becoming a world-class Army that is a source of national pride by 2028 in line with the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR).
