Army Continues to Communicate Gov’t Efforts; Conducts Loudspeaker Operations, Distributes Informative Leaflets

The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) continues to communicate the government’s efforts through the conduct of Loudspeaker Operations and distribution of informative leaflets in the geographically isolated and disadvantaged barangay of Sinonok in Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur as part of its campaign to inform the public and save the community from terrorist ideology.

The Matapat Troopers enlightened the community about the benefits under the government’s Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP).

Troops also distributed the human rights (HR) and International Humanitarian Law (IHL) violations committed by the CPP-NPA to inform and save the residents especially the youth from communist-terrorist ideology.
