TRANSPORTING COVID-19 VACCINES: 53IB Conducts Convoy Security for Covid-19 Vaccines in ZDS

The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) conducted convoy security for Covid-19 Vaccine transportation from the Department of Health (DOH) office in Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay Province to Pagadian City on September 2, 2021.

200 vials of Pfizer vaccines were successfully delivered to the ZDS Provincial Health Office.53IB Charlie “Colossus” Company Executive Officer 2Lt. Kim Cedrick Lemus led the team of Matapat Troopers for security together with 2nd PMFC P/SSG Mostapa Diwa, and DOH Region 9 Mr Jose Daniel Gregorio.
