IN ACTION! Army Conducts Loudspeaker Operations in Far-Flung Barangay
Loudspeaker Operations Team composed of the Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) and Alpha Company, 1st Civil-Military Operations “Mahigalaon” Battalion (1CMO Bn) conducted loudspeaker operations at the geographically isolated and disadvantaged barangay of Saad in Dumingag town, Zamboanga del Sur purposely to keep the residents informed of government programs and initiatives especially the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP).
Through E-CLIP, former Communist-NPA Terrorists can be reintegrated back to the community, be with their families, and start over with their new, normal lives.
The financial benefits intended for their development include but are not limited to the following:

* Immediate assistance (Php 15,000.00)* Livelihood assistance (Php 50,000.00)

* Medical assistance
* Legal assistance
* Housing
* Alternative learning system
* Psychosocial assistance

Maverick Rey Mira, Intelligence Officer ng 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB), sa mga doktor na kung pwede kaagad matulungan si Jotham, ang kumander ng Main Regional Guerilla Unit (MRGU) ng Western Mindanao Regional Party Committee (WMRPC) nang malamang ito ay malubhang nasugatan mula sa engkwentro ng grupo nito at ng 53IB.
