IN ACTION| 53IB Feeds Children in Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Barangay

The Bravo Company of the Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) brought joy to the children of Barangay Saad, a geographically isolated and disadvantaged barangay in the town of Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur as they conducted a feeding program there on August 26, 2021.

Barangay Saad was once exploited by CPP-NPA terrorists. It was declared “cleared” of communist-terrorist influence on May 19, 2020.
