The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) conducted the Second Batch of its Non-Commissioned Officers (NCO) Leadership Forum to further enhance and develop the leadership capabilities and potentials of its NCOs.
The opening ceremony was graced by Army’s 1st Infantry “Tabak” Division (1ID) Assistant Chief of Staff for Education and Training, G8 Lt. Col. Jasper Edward Obar. In his message, he lauded 53IB’s conduct of NCO Leadership Forum, saying this will further complement the leadership capability of the organization.
“Through this NCO Leadership Forum, you will complement not just the leadership competency of 53IB, but the Command, the Philippine Army, and the whole Armed Forces of the Philippines as well,” said Lt. Col. Obar.
Meanwhile, 53IB Commanding Officer Lt. Col. Jo-ar Herrera thanked the G8 for gracing the Opening of NCO Leadership Forum.
“With your presence —a highly competent and skilled Officer—our NCOs are now more inspired to finish the NCO Leadership Forum,” said Lt. Col. Herrera.
