Empowering the Youth Toward the Crafting of National Action Plan on Youth, Peace, and Security

Congratulations to our Youth Leadership Summit – Zamboanga del Sur (YLS-ZDS) Alumni for hurdling the 3-day Regional and Provincial Youth, Peace, and Security Consultations seminar/workshop towards the crafting of the National Action Plan on YPS (NAPYPS) at the Casa Mea Hotel and Resort, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay Province.

The YPS aims to gather, organize, and mobilize youth leaders from BASULTA and ZAMPEN; increase the capacity of youth peacebuilders with the necessary skills, knowledge, and attitude on building a culture of peace; orient the youth on the planned NAPYPS and the important contribution of the youth in the YPS agenda based on their peace and conflict situation, and in peacebuilding; and to solicit ideas, recommendations, and suggestions in the crafting of the YPS agenda.
