EMPOWERING LEADERS! YLS Alumni Participate in Regional and Provincial Youth, Peace, and Security Consultations

Youth Leadership Summit Alumni of Zamboanga del Sur participate in the Zamboanga Youth, Peace and Security (YPS) Provincial Consultation towards the crafting of the National Action Plan on YPS (NAPYPS) at the Casa Mea Hotel and Resort, Ipil, ZamboangaSibugay Province.

The objectives of the YPS are:

1) To gather, organize, and mobilize youth leaders from BASULTA and ZAMPEN;

2) To increase the capacity of youth peacebuilders with the necessary skills, knowledge, and attitude on building a culture of peace;

3) To orient the youth on the planned NAPYPS and the important contribution of the youth in the YPS agenda based on their peace and conflict situation, and in peacebuilding, and

4) To solicit ideas, recommendations, and suggestions in the crafting of the YPS agenda.
