A CLEAN AND GREEN ENVIRONMENT FOR THE FUTURE | 53IB, LGU Participate in Tree Planting Activity in Kumalarang
The Municipal Government of Kumalarang, Zamboanga del Sur and the Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) participated in a tree planting activity to promote a clean ang green environment at Sicade Reforestation Area, Barangay Sicade, Kumalarang, Zamboanga del Sur yesterday, August 26.
The activity was spearheaded by Kumalarang mayor Ruel Molina and was participated by 53IB’s Charlie Company led by its Commanding Officer 1Lt. Alvin Ibarra; Kumalarang PNP; Bureau of Fire and Protection (BFP); and various agencies and stakeholders.
This activity is part of the 53IB’s drive to strategically communicate the Army’s transformation to become world class that is a source of national pride by 2028 in line with the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR).
