IN ACTION | LGU, 53IB Continue Adopt-a-CAFGU Program in Midsalip

The Municipal Government of Midsalip, its Rural Health Unit (RHU), and the Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) continue to advance 53IB’s “Better Life: Adopt-a-CAFGU Program” for its CAFGU Active Auxiliaries (CAAs) and their dependents through a medical mission held at Sigapod Barangay Hall, Midsalip, Zamboanga del Sur on August 20, 2021.

The medical team headed by MHO Dr. Janine Ann Pangandian together with 53IB’s Alpha Company First Sergeant Technical Sergeant Julius Obido conducted operation tuli, free medical check-up, and family planning as part of the medical mission which benefitted the CAAs assigned in Cabaluran Detachment and the residents of Barangay Sigapod.

Alpha Company, 53IB also gave PhilArPat uniforms as part of 53IB’s commitment to improve the lives of its CAAs.
