INVOLVING THE COMMUNITY IN INFORMATION DOMINANCE: 53IB Distributes Transistor Radios from Rotary Club of Pasay Cyber City

In its continuous community engagement activities, the Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) distributed the transistor radios it received from the Rotary Club of Pasay Cyber City at the hinterland barangay of Salvador in Dumingag town, Zamboanga del Sur on August 11, 2021.

The radios belong to the 60 RRS RS-902 brand Transistor Radios donated by the Rotary Club of Pasay Cyber City to sustain its information dominance in hinterland barangays.

Transistor radios significantly keep families in far-flung barangays up-to-date with current news as most of them have no other modes of information acquisition.
