FOOD FOR THE LESS FORTUNATE | Community Pantry Established for Destitute Communities

The CC-MMM Lending Corporation in partnership with the Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) organized a community pantry in barangays Lantawan and Libuganan in San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur on August 8, 2021.

The activity was spearheaded by CC-MMM Lending Corporation CEO Marilou Felicia together with Kabataan Para Sa Pag-asenso (KPSP) Youth Organization and 53IB Charlie Company Executive Officer 2Lt. Kim Cedrick Lemus and Barangay Officials of said barangays.

The Matapat Troopers’ participation in this activity is part of the 53IB’s drive to pursue transformation to become a world class Army that is a source of national pride by 2028 in line with the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR).
