#MatapatSaPaglingkod IN PHOTOS | CAFGUs Receive Rice Allowance from Provincial Government

Thirty (30) CAFGU Active Auxiliaries (CAAs) of Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion based in Baking Patrol Base in Lakewood town received rice allowance from the Provincial Government of Zamboanga del Sur as part of its “Better Life: Adopt-a-CAFGU Project” on August 6, 2021.

ZamboSur Board Member for Peace and Order John Regala was accompanied by 53IB Charlie Company Commander 1Lt. Alvin Ibarra.BM Regala and 1Lt. Ibarra talked to the CAAs to boost their morale as well as determine their issues and concerns.

This activity is part of the 53IB’s drive to pursue transformation to become a world class Army that is a source of national pride by 2028 in line with the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR).
