SUSTAINABLE PEACE | Government Security Forces Provide Security Updates in Pagadian City
The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) collaborated with the different Government Security Forces and the Municipal Government of Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur in the recently concluded City Peace and Order Council (CPOC) meeting at Mayor’s Office, Municipal Hall, Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur on July 28, 2021.
Significant updates delivered by 53IB Operations Officer 1Lt. Jonathan Cernitchez include: AFP updates, Situation update in Western Mindanao, Situation update in 53IB AOR, Situation update in Pagadian City, Peacebuilding activities, Better Life: Adopt-a-CAFGU Program, and Social Media Advocacy for Matapat Social Media Pages for daily updates.

This activity is part of the 53IB’s drive to pursue transformation to become a world class Army that is a source of national pride by 2028 in line with the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR).
