EXTENDING THE REACH OF HEALTHCARE: SKH Family Conducts Community Outreach Program in Brgy Guinicolalay, Dinas

The Saka sa Kaugmaon nga Hamugaway (SKH) Initiative in partnership with the Philippine Army and Philippine Air Force conducted Medical Outreach Program to provide free medical services to low income and underserved communities at Barangay Guinicolalay, Dinas, Zamboanga del Sur on July 27, 2021.

The said program included free medical outreach, operation tuli, dental checkup, distribution of slippers and toys to the children, and fun games intended for the poor community to keep a check on the health services being received by the people.

The said medical outreach was spearheaded by SKH President Ms. Fruby P. Dayondon together with Hon. Junaflor Cerilles, Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB), 547th Engineer Battalion (547EBn), 1st Cavalry Battalion (1CAV), and Philippine Air Force’s Tactical Operations Group 9 (TOG9).

This activity is part of the 53IB’s drive to pursue transformation to become a world class Army that is a source of national pride by 2028 in line with the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR).
