LOOK! | Army, Community Repair Barangay Road Together

The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) and 1st CMO “Mahigalaon” Battalion (1CMOBn) joined hands with the community of Barangay Salvador, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur to repair the main road of the said barangay on July 19-20, 2021.

The Matapat and Mahigalaon Troopers participated the pahina sa kalsada (road repair) at Purok 1 of the said Barangay together with Committee on Peace and Order Hon. Rolly Jemino. The activity aimed to maintain the integrity of the barangay road which was destroyed during the previous landslide.

This activity is part of the 53IB’s drive to pursue transformation to become a world class Army that is a source of national pride by 2028 in line with the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR).
