IN PHOTOS | 53IB Facilitates Burial of Fallen Trooper, Renders Gun Salute

The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) facilitated the burial of late Private First Class Marchi Bonzales in Barangay Baking, Lakewood Zamboanga del Sur on July 17, 2021.

The Matapat Troopers provided area security, extended transportation assistance to the bereaved family, and rendered a gun salute to late PFC Bonzales in honor of his service in the Philippine Army and to our country.

Late PFC Bonzales was one of the casualties during the ill-fated C130 crash in Sulu last July 4.
