LOOK| 53IB,LGU sustain Peace and Security Initiatives in Aurora, ZDS

The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) continues to strengthen partnership with Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur and dialogued with its mayor at Aurora Municipal Hall, Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur on July 15, 2021.

53IB Alpha Company Commander 1Lt. Janryl Gumalad and Aurora mayor Atty. Boen Dorotheo Cabahug discussed the peace and security updates in the municipalty, the SSS application of CAFGU Active Auxiliaries (CAAs) assigned in Cabilinan Patrol Base, and the conduct of medical services as part of Better Life: Adopt-a-CAFGU Program.

This activity is part of the 53IB’s drive to strategically communicate the Army’s transformation to become world class that is a source of national pride by 2028 in line with the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR).
