GIVING PREMIUM TO CAFGUS’ WELFARE: 53IB Advances Adopt-a-CAFGU Project in Cabilinan, Aurora

The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “MATAPAT” Battalion (53IB) continues to improve the lives of its CAFGU Active Auxiliaries (CAAs) as part of its “Better Life: Adopt a CAFGU Project” at Cabilinan Patrol Base, Barangay Cabilinan, Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur on June 15, 2021.

The 53IB’s 53IB Alpha Company Commander 1Lt Janryl Gumalad conducted patrol base visitation and handed PHILARPAT Uniforms to the CAAs of the detachment, contributing to the CAAs personal and professional growth.

The “Better Life: Adopt a CAFGU Project” is one of this unit’s best practices and forms part of the 53IB’s drive to pursue transformation to become a world class Army that is a source of national pride by 2028 in line with the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR).
