IN PHOTOS | Army, LGU Promote Clean and Green Environment, Participates in Tree-Planting in Far-Flung Community

The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) and 1st CMO “Mahigalaon” Battalion (1CMOBn) participated in a tree-planting activity in the hinterland barangay of Salvador, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur on July 16, 2021

.The said activity as conducted in partnership with the Barangay Salvador Youth Association headed by Youth President Ms. Geselle Ann Cruz and SK President Mr. Charlie Pacaro.

It aims to maintain the clean and green project of the said barangay while empowering the Filipino youth. This activity is part of the 53IB’s drive to pursue transformation to become a world class Army that is a source of national pride by 2028 in line with the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR).
