IN PHOTOS | EMPOWERED BDS, CVOs CONDUCT QUARANTINE CONTROL POINT OPERATIONS

The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) and 1st CMO “Mahigalaon” Battalion (1CMOBn) joined the Civilian Volunteers Organization (CVOs) and Barangay Defense System tanods of Barangay Salvador in Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur during their conduct of COVID-19 Quarantine Control Point (QCP) Operations on July 8, 2021.

The said control point aims to monitor and mitigate the spread of the pandemic in the barangay.

This activity is part of the 53IB’s drive to pursue transformation to become a world class Army that is a source of national pride by 2028 in line with the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR).
