PROMOTING HEALTH STABILITY: 53IB, LGU, NGO Advance BETTER LIFE

For CAFGUsThe Midsalip Rural Health Unit (RHU) and Maranao People Development Center Inc. (MARADECA) in partnership with the Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) conducted Free Mobile Chest X-Ray to CAFGU Active Auxiliaries (CAAs) to promote health security amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Free Mobile Chest X-Ray was conducted to the CAAs of Sigapod, Balonai, Cabaluran, Piwan, and Unidos Patrol Bases in Midsalip, Zamboanga del Sur. Purpose of this event is to support the Pulmonary Tuberculosis Active Case Finding of DOH Program and to check the physical health of the CAAs in the said patrol bases as part of the “Better Life: Adopt-a-CAFGU Program.”

This activity is part of the 53IB’s drive to pursue transformation to become a world class Army that is a source of national pride by 2028 in line with the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR).
