STEP TOWARD RESILIENCY | 53IB Sustains Security Support to Pagadian Amidst Pandemic

The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) attended the COVID-19 Emergency Meeting at the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) in Pagadian City on July 5, 2021.

The said meeting, which aimed to prepare Pagadian City on the possible third wave (surge) COVID-19, was headed by Pagadian City Mayor Samuel Co and was attended by 53IB Executive Officer Cpt. Bahnarin Camsa and other government agencies.

This is part of 53IB’s drive to pursue transformation to become a world-class Army that is a source of national pride by 2028 in line with the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR).
