TRANSPORTING COVID-19 VACCINES: 53IB Conducts Convoy Security for Covid-19 Vaccines in ZDS

The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) conducted convoy security for Covid-19 Vaccine transportation from the Department of Health (DOH) office in Ipil, Zamboanga del Sur to Pagadian City on July 8, 2021. 4,475 vials of Sinovac vaccines were successfully delivered to the Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO).

53IB Charlie “Colossus” Company Executive Officer 2Lt. Kim Cedrick Lemus led the team of Matapat Troopers for security together with 2nd PMFC PNCO PEMS Jose Zaide Agir, and Health Officer – Immunization Coordinator of IPHO Mr: Alex Lagos.
