AN ENVIRONMENT CONDUCIVE FOR LEARNING | TEACHERS, 53IB JOIN HANDS; CONDUCTS BRIGADA ESKWELA IN KUMALARANG
The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) continues to conduct community engagement activities in the far-flung barangay of Boyugan West in Kumalarang, Zamboanga del Sur on 07 July 2021.
The 53IB joined hands with the teachers of Boyugan West Elementary School and conducted a Brigada Eskwela at the said school. The Matapat Troopers were led by 53IB’s Alpha “Archers” Company NCO Sergeant Abara while the teachers were headed by SP-1 Mr. Carlo Joy A. Mutia.
This activity is part of the 53IB’s drive to strategically communicate the Army’s transformation to become world class that is a source of national pride by 2028 in line with the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR).
