IN PHOTOS | 53IB, LGU Facilitate Organic Cooking Seminar for Hinterland Community

The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) and 1st CMO “Mahigalaon” Battalion (1CMOBn) conducted Community Engagement activities in the hinterland barangay of Salvador, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur on July 2, 2021.

During the community engagement activities, the Department of Agriculture – Municipality of Dumingag, Committee on Health, Matapat, and Mahigalaon Troopers facilitated the conduct of a 2-day Organic Cooking Seminar which aimed to develop the skills of the community in producing organic foods, especially this time of pandemic.

This activity is part of the 53IB’s drive to pursue transformation to become a world class Army that is a source of national pride by 2028 in line with the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR).
