CHECKING ON TROOPS’ MORALE AND WELFARE: 53IB COMMANDER VISITS TROOPS

CThe Commanding Officer of Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) checked the morale and welfare the unit’s CAFGU Active Auxiliaries (CAAs) during his visit to different detachments in 1st District of Zamboanga del Sur on June 28, 2021.

Also checking the progress of its “Better Life: Adopt-a-CAFGU Program,” 53IB Commanding Officer Lt. Col. Herrera checked the CAAs in Barangay Upper Liason, Tambulig; Purok Gemelina, Barangay Lower Dimalinao Barangay Dontulan, Molave; Barangay Litapan, Josefina; and Barangay Bag-Ong Tabogon, Tambulig, Zamboanga del Sur.

This activity is part of 53IB’s drive to pursue transformation to become a world-class Army that is a source of national pride by 2028 in line with the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR).
