IN PHOTOS: 53IB Continues to Conduct Mobile Patrol in Pagadian City

To raise awareness on COVID-19 in Pagadian City, the Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) conducted mobile patrols in the areas of Barangay Santiago, Barangay Santa Lucia, Rotonda area, and Plaza Luz area last June 21.

Aside from raising awareness, the 53IB, as a member of Task Force COVID-SHIELD, also encouraged the residents to follow the protocols of the City and to properly wear a mask to mitigate the spread of the disease.

This activity is part of 53IB’s drive to strategically communicate the Army’s transformation to become world class that is a source of national pride by 2028 in line with the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR).
