FOSTERING DEVELOPMENT AND PROGRESS: LABANGAN LGU, 53IB CONVERGE FOR INFRA PROJECTS

The Municipal Government of Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur and the Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) converged on June 20, 2021 for the implementation of infrastructure projects in said municipality.

Labangan mayor Eduardo Relacion and 53IB Executive Officer Cpt. Bahnarin Camsa together with Labangan Sangguniang Bayan (SB) member Abdulracman Talumpa and Engineer Amelil Pagayao tackled the details on the Program of Works for the construction of bridges and river control.

Bettering and improving citizen’s life by securing and being part of the implementation of infrastructure projects are part of the 53IB’s drive to pursue transformation to become a world class Army that is a source of national pride by 2028 in line with the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR).
