BETTER LIFE INDEED | 53IB Brings Adopt-a-CAFGU Project in Tukuran, ZDS

The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “MATAPAT” Battalion (53IB) continues to improve the lives of its CAFGU Active Auxiliaries (CAAs) as part of its “Better Life: Adopt a CAFGU Project” at Tinotungan Patrol Base, Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur on June 16, 2021

The 53IB’s Alpha Company led by its Executive Officer 1Lt. Jay Mar Paderes handed PHILARPAT Uniforms to the CAAs of the detachment, contributing to the CAAs personal and professional growth.

The “Better Life: Adopt a CAFGU Project” is one of this unit’s best practices and forms part of the 53IB’s drive to pursue transformation to become a world class Army that is a source of national pride by 2028 in line with the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR).
