IN PHOTOS | 53IB Increases Community Awareness on Anti-Smuggling
The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) installed Anti-Smuggling tarpaulins at Camanga Junction, Dumalinao, Zamboanga del Sur on June 15, 2021.
The tarpaulin reads “Bawal Bumili at Magbenta ng Illegal na Yosi” to remind the community and increase their awareness on anti-smuggling.The activity was supervised by CMO NCO of 53IB’s Delta Company Staff Sergeant Filnor Butalina.
This activity is part of the 53IB’s drive to pursue transformation to become a world class Army that is a source of national pride by 2028 in line with the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR).
